as part of the Applied Mathematics Seminar (IMATI-CNR e Dipartimento di Matematica, Pavia).

A team from Liceo Scientifico Giulio Casiraghi in Cinisello Balsamo won the final in the category Mathematics and Economy at TEDxYouth.They are now among the 11 general finalists.
Working with IMATI in Milano, they solved a partecipative decision making problem using Bayesian networks. Their video is available on the TEDxYouth website or on YouTube.
The European project CAxMan (http://www.caxman.eu) was at the Maker Faire in Rome on 14-16 October 2016. Among the nine CNR institutes that shared a booth, IMATI presented both the overall CAxMan project and its specific contribution within the project.
