On boundary stabilization of equilibrium solutions to parabolic-like equations
as part of the Applied Mathematics Seminar (IMATI-CNR e Dipartimento di Matematica, Pavia).
Abstract Dr. Matias Delgadino: Motivated by swarming models, we analyse local minimizers to the Interaction Energy. Using classical results of potential theory, we show a surprising relationship between local minimizers of the Interaction Energy and solutions to Obstacle Problems. Exploiting this relationship we translate regularity results from one setting onto the other.
Abstract Dr. Ionuţ Munteanu: In this talk we shall design boundary stabilizers of proportional type associated to parabolic equations (semilinear heat equations). Then we shall discuss on their main advantages and disadvantages in their use. Finally, we shall give some examples in order to illustrate the acquired results.
