Abstract.

Motivated by works of Karper, we propose a finite difference scheme
for the system of compressible Navier-Stokes equations and show its
convergence to a weak solution of the problem. The proof follows the
analytic proof of the existence of weak solutions to CNS system
developed by Lions and uses discrete results analogous to the more
famous continuous ones.
