Abstract: The PhD project is about isogeometric contact methods. The objective is to design an optimal consistent formulation to solve contact problems in 3D in the non-linear regime for hyper-elastic materials. This work is related to a company project and is carried out in collaboration with researchers from the IMATI Pavia and from the department of mathematics of the University of Pavia.
